Music can be a means of communication through which aspects of people’s identities are constructed. As part of the journey of developing our Art and Identity resources, we wanted to build a playlist focused on the theme of identity, and invited our staff members to pick a song that captured their identity – whether that be a classic hit, an upbeat anthem, or a hidden gem that deserves more recognition!

About the Learning Resources
With artists from Kettle’s Yard’s collections and exhibitions, the Art and Identity learning resources for primary and secondary teachers explore how artists have discussed ideas around identity through their artwork, to support teaching and learning of art and PSHE in the classroom.
