We are delighted to present our new programme of Chamber Music concerts for 2025-26.

There’s nothing like a concert at Kettle’s Yard. Thursday evenings in term time invariably offer a treat for the senses with great music here in Jim and Helen Ede’s incomparable setting. Our concerts offer a delightful opportunity to appreciate not only the music but also, as you listen, the art about you. And what’s more, in the interval there’s often the chance for a quick glimpse of the current exhibition, or a drink with friends and fellow concert goers. All in all, as our loyal followers know, Kettle’s Yard music is definitely worth coming out for, even in the depths of winter!

Thanks to our Chamber Music programmer Justin Lee, there is something for everyone in this new series. Players include ensembles of great repute whose luminary quality makes them favourites for us, as well as new emerging talent, bright young players making their way. We have the beloved chamber music canon of Haydn and Beethoven and the greats, alongside thrilling lesser-known works that deserve wider recognition. As well as ensembles we have soloists – three pianists (is that a tinkling of pianists?), a wonderful soprano and just when you thought you’d heard it all, we bring you trumpet with accordion – it IS special.

We are thrilled that the Brodsky Quartet is opening our series on 9 October with a flourish of Shostakovich and Haydn. Come and join us for the whole series (full price subscription ticket for all 15 concerts represent a substantial saving of up to £135) or pick and choose from our programme below. Do book in good time – seating here is limited and we often sell out.
