Exhibition

The horizon is the point of no return: works by Georgie Grace and from the Kettle’s Yard collection

5 February – 10 June 2016 at the Cambridge University Library

Two lenticular prints by Georgie Grace (prints that move as the viewer moves past them) and works chosen by the artist from the Kettle’s Yard collection will be on display at the University Library.

Georgie Grace has chosen pieces by Alfred Wallis, Barbara Hepworth and the iconic glass disc by Gregorio Vardanega, as well as other art works.

Georgie Grace works with video, text, and installation. Her practice examines shifting modes of attention and experiences of immersion via the interplay between still and moving image. In 2015 she was selected for Jerwood Encounters: 3-Phase, exhibiting new commissions at Eastside Projects, Birmingham, Jerwood Space, London, and g39, Cardiff. She studied Philosophy and Social Anthropology at Cambridge University before completing her MFA at Cambridge School of Art in 2012.
