About Paint What Matters!

Autumn is Amazing! by Orla, aged 6

Paint What Matters! is a unique exhibition at Kettle’s Yard celebrating the talent and creativity of children and young people in Cambridge. The exhibition will share the work of 500 young artists aged 4-21 years across our two galleries.

For this exhibition Kettle’s Yard invited children and young people in Cambridge to create artworks about what matters to them today, in any artistic style or medium, from local to global issues; from their home to our shared planet; from love for families, friends and communities to concern for nature, animals and the environment.

A selection of artworks created by Kettle’s Yard’s partner schools and community groups is also on display.

Access

The Clore Learning Studio is fully accessible. It can be reached by stairs or by lift, to the basement -1 floor. There is an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities in the basement beside the Learning Studio. There are more toilets and facilities on the ground and first floors.
