New Music: John Butcher, saxophone, and Angharad Davies, violin

Thursday 14 January, 8pm (doors open at 7.30pm)

Join us for a New Music concert in the Kettle’s Yard house with John Butcher, saxophone, and Angharad Davies, violin.

Book Now £15 (£5 students and Open House Community cardholders), booking required

We can guarantee you an evening like no other from two of today’s most impressive free improvising musicians. John and Angharad have made music together for many years in various groups, but it wasn’t until recently that they started to appear as a duo. In October 2025 they released their first album Two Seasons, a sequence of improvisations that could only have come from two musicians who share a musical imagination without limits. Kettle’s Yard provides the perfect setting in which to let their ever-changing sounds unfold in ways you’ll have never heard before.
