New Music: GBSR Duo

Thursday 18 February 2027, 8pm (doors at 7.30pm)

Join us for a New Music concert in the Kettle’s Yard house with the GBSR Duo, George Barton, percussion, and Siwan Ryhs, piano.

Book Now £15 (£5 students), booking required

In 2025 the GBSR Duo were the winners of the Young Artists category at the Royal Philharmonic Society Awards. It was yet another stamp of approval for two musicians who are devoted to new music and pull off performances with such style and energy. George and Siwan will bring Bryn Harrison’s latest work to Kettle’s Yard – Five Transfigurations and Seven Litanies. Bryn’s music is built from intricate fragments that combine to create mesmerising landscapes of sound. Here’s a chance to hear one of the first performances of an important new work from a major international composer.
