About Howard Hodgkin

Sir Howard Hodgkin was one of Britain’s most famous contemporary painters and printmakers. We will visit his studio in a former 19th century dairy, near the British Museum. Antony Peattie, Howard’s partner of 33 years, will provide an overview of Howard’s remarkable career, during which he represented Britain at the Venice Biennale and won the Turner Prize.

The Bernard Jacobson Gallery is holding an exhibition of Howard’s early prints until the 3 March.
