Light Spells – a photographic exploration of Kettle’s Yard

Over a series of months, Graham Murrell and Kathryn Faulkner captured the light of the house at Kettle’s Yard using pinhole and conventional cameras and direct exposure of printing-out paper. Their images, shown in the gallery and in the house, used long exposures and were taken from the unfamiliar ‘viewpoint’ of the objects of the house, reflecting fleeting moments and continuing human occupation.
