Holiday Textile Workshop: The Material Power of Us
Thursday 26 October, 10am–2pm
Join artist Hilary Cox Condron to explore how creativity can reflect strength and resilience, while helping process difficult emotions. For ages 11–16 years.
Inspired by Material Power: Palestinian Embroidery, we will create artwork exploring symbols of identity and strength. We’ll also recognise personal losses and challenges — from climate change to relationships or moving schools. Using textiles, natural inks, selfies and creative processes, we’ll develop ways to express our feelings, resilience and power.
Please bring a packed lunch with you.
We anticipate this workshop may include emotional content and have set the workshop ages accordingly. If booking for your child, please do be aware of this.
