Friends Annual Party 2025

Wednesday 3 September, 6.30-8.30pm

Join us for the Friends of Kettle’s Yard Annual Party.

This event has passed. £15 Friends, (£20 non-Friends, £10 Students), booking required (price inclusive of 20% VAT)

Explore the Kettle’s Yard house and the Lubaina Himid with Magda Stawarska: Another Chance Encounter exhibition after hours. Ticket price includes a welcome drink and a selection of light bites.

Timings & further information

6.30pm: Arrive and explore the house. A complimentary glass of wine or a soft drink will be served in the lower extension.

7pm: Speeches in the lower extension, including a talk from our guest speaker, artist Anna Brownsted.

7.15pm: Pay bar opens and refreshments served. Celebrations continue into the welcome area, courtyard and galleries.

Please note the bar will be taking card-only payments. If you are entering the house, bags must be checked in on arrival.

Funds raised through this event will go towards supporting Kettle’s Yard. Should the event sell out, please email friends@kettlesyard.cam.ac.uk to be added to a waiting list.

About the speaker

Anna Brownsted. Photo: Sid White-Jones.

Anna Brownsted is an American interdisciplinary artist living and working in Cambridge. She uses a wide range of methods and materials to explore liveness and presence, often through collaborative exchange with researchers, community groups and other artists. Anna’s work with Kettle’s Yard includes exhibitions in the galleries, creative workshops in the Clore, and projects within the community that have produced a variety of artwork outcomes including films and installations in the public realm.
