Zoë Tumika

Zoë Tumika is an artist and curator living in Glasgow, who works under the names Zoë Tumika, Zoë Guthrie and Zoë Zo. Their practice is informed by a range of sources, including Black Feminism and African cosmologies. They work in ceramics, drawing, moving image and sound. Their works in clay are often created over extended periods of time, using both hand-building techniques and the pottery wheel. Their work is represented in public collections including Manchester Art Gallery, Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art, The Hepworth Wakefield and Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum.
