Susi Woodhouse

Susi’s working life has been in the library world: she has held posts at the British Library, the London Borough of Ealing Libraries and the Museums, Libraries and Archive Council. She also documented the photograph archive of the London Symphony Orchestra. Music has always played a central role in her life: today she looks after the extensive archive of the musician and broadcaster Hans Keller held here at the University Library and was co-author with Alison Garnham of his biography published by Routledge in 2019. She is also involved with London-based ChamberStudio’s Hans Keller Forums – three-day mentoring sessions held at the Music School for string quartets and piano trios drawn from UK music conservatoires. When not up to her ears in music, Susi enjoys gardening, pilates, reading widely and, of course, regular visits to Kettle’s Yard.
