Sean Gorvy
Sean is Chief Executive of Hanover Acceptances Group, a private investment business with a focus on real estate and agriculture. He also serves as the Executive Chair of Dorrington Plc, Hanover Acceptances’ residential and commercial property investment arm. His professional experience includes serving on the supervisory board of publicly-listed global soft drinks manufacturer Refresco and five years in corporate finance, M&A, and real estate investment banking with Morgan Stanley.
Sean holds a PhD in political economics from Cambridge University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Presidents’ Program in Leadership. He is a member of the Whitehall Group of the Cambridge University Land Society.
A long-time supporter of the arts, Sean’s connection to Kettle’s Yard began during his time as a student in Cambridge and he is now a member of Ede’s Circle. He is also a patron of the Heong Gallery at Downing College, Cambridge. His passion for the arts centres on mid-20th century British artists and the British Arts & Crafts movement. Through a partnership with the Royal College of Art, his business supports emerging artists and is the only corporate member of the Voysey Society.
In addition to his artistic interests, Sean supports Kettle’s Yard’s strategic direction as a member of its Finance and Risk Committee.
