Ruby Salter
Ruby joined the team as a Development Assistant in February 2024. She oversees gift administration and collaborates closely with the Friends of Kettle’s Yard on their events and membership scheme. In addition to this, she supports the Development Manager and Senior Associate Director of Fundraising with fundraising initiatives.
Ruby grew up in Cambridge and went on to study History of Art at the University of Bristol. While living in Bristol, she volunteered at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, conducting tours of contemporary exhibitions and working alongside the learning team to develop educational activities for children and teachers.
After graduating, she returned to Cambridge and volunteered at Kettle’s Yard, primarily with the Front of House team. Before joining as the Development Assistant, she worked as a Programmes and Workshops Assistant at the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences where she honed her skills in event organisation.
