Lalie Constantin

Lalie joined Kettle’s Yard in 2025 as Assistant to the Director and Programme Support. She supports the Director on a part-time basis, and the rest of the week act as Heritage Officer at Royal Papworth Hospital, where she keeps and curates the collections. Previously, Lalie worked front of house at the National Portrait Gallery, London, where she focused on creating public programmes that expanded the representation, and awareness, of disability histories and identities.

Lalie studied History of Art and Architecture at the University of Cambridge, and completed an MA in Art History, Curatorship, and Renaissance Culture co-taught by the Warburg Institute, University of London, and the National Gallery, London.

Lalie’s favourite thing about Kettle’s Yard is the domestic setting in which artworks are displayed. She believes that the house environment can make visitors feel more welcome and less intimidated, making the artworks more accessible.
