Gabrielle Brasier
Gabby joined Kettle’s Yard in March 2025 as Assistant Curator, House and Collection, supporting with the care and conservation of the house, collection and archive and related displays, exhibitions and events.
Gabby studied History of Art at the University of York and completed an MA in Museum Studies at the University of East Anglia. Previously she managed the care of collections at National Trust properties Anglesey Abbey and Ickworth and volunteered at various museum and heritage organisations whilst studying.
What makes Kettle’s Yard a special place to Gabby is the curation of art alongside natural objects:
“I love that visitors can sit and study works of art at the same time as admiring posies of flowers and collections of shells. The fusion of art and nature in the house creates a unique sense of tranquillity.”
