Dr Simone Schnall
Dr Simone Schnall is a Professor of Experimental Social Psychology at the University of Cambridge. She led a team of Cambridge psychologists in studying the psychological state of gallery-goers during the 2023 Kettle’s Yard exhibition Lucie Rie: The Adventure of Pottery, describing Kettle’s Yard as a ‘living laboratory’. Her wider research explores how people’s feelings, bodily experiences, and environments shape how they think, make decisions, and form moral judgments. She currently serves as the Director of the Cambridge Body, Mind, and Behaviour Laboratory.
