Dr Marina Velez-Vago
Dr Marina Velez-Vago is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher based in Cambridge. She employs photography, video, and working-with strategies, focusing on sustainability, decolonising and environmental issues. Her research explores how art can create spaces for dialogue and action, with a particular focus on ‘value’ as an indicator of how humans relate to one another, non-human animals and the environment. She is founder and organiser of the Cambridge Sustainability Residency for Artists and founder and curator of the Sustainability Art Prize in the creative curriculum.
