Alejandro Freeman
Ale creates digital content for Kettle’s Yard, working across social media, the website and email communications. He first joined as a temporary receptionist in summer 2026, before moving into communications.
His background spans radio, content creation and videography. He studied History at the University of Leeds, graduating with first-class honours, and went on to co-present a weekly music programme on Cambridge Radio. He is also the creator of Handle Bars 360, an independent creative platform that began with 360° films of musicians performing as they rode through their own neighbourhoods on bikes and scooters.
Self-taught in filming and editing, Ale was selected for the 2024 emerging creatives programme run by Pirate Studios and Relentless Energy Drink.
Ale’s favourite part of the House:
I have a soft spot for Alfred Wallis’s paintings. He painted ships and coastlines from memory, and I love his very personal way of seeing the world. He only began painting in his seventies, which I find rather reassuring: there are still quite a few things I’d like to try!
