Look / Make / Talk
Supported transport and Look / Make / Talk participation at Kettle’s Yard for eligible Cambridgeshire primary schools.
Look / Make / Talk at Kettle’s Yard
During the 2023/2024 school year, the Clore Duffield Foundation is generously supporting opportunities for Cambridgeshire primary schools to engage with art and ideas at Kettle’s Yard through FREE return transport and participation in our Look / Make / Talk programme for eligible schools.
Inspired by the Kettle’s Yard collection and temporary art exhibitions, Look / Make / Talk encourages pupils to use their critical and creative thinking skills to observe, make connections and explore ideas before making their own artworks to take back to school.
Sessions are 1.5–2 hours in length and can be booked and tailored for EYFS, KS1 & KS2.
Who can participate?
We know that one of the barriers to school trips can be cost. We can provide free transport and programme participation for state, non-fee-paying primary schools within Cambridgeshire, who have more than 20% or more pupils eligible for free school meals.
As a funded pilot, we can only provide 1 session (eg. one class or one year level) per primary school applicant.
How to apply
If you would like to participate, please email the Kettle’s Yard learning team at: email@example.com
Please include the following information in your email:
• School name and postcode
• Year level or class you want to participate
• Three preferred visit dates in the 2023/24 academic year (preferably Tuesday – Thursday, 9.30am – 1pm)
Once your enquiry has been received, we will check your eligibility, availability and reply to you within two weeks.
